Dance classes for 2020 in Bournemouth

Dance classes for 2020 in Bournemouth

If you’ve ever wanted to try dance, or fancy moving to some gorgeous and soothing music, try a ballet or movement class in 2020.

My classes are fun, happy, and enjoyable experiences.  They’ll also teach you how to achieve a dancer’s alignment to protect your body, and you’ll get to perform some lovely steps.

In the centre we try routines inspired by the great British choreographers, including Frederick Ashton to Kenneth MacMillan and Peter Wright.  At the barre we use music from the great ballets, musicals and baroque music, where ballet started.  There are occasionally some fab heritage pieces from the old Rambert and Vic Wells ballet days.

You’ll find classes led by Natasha on these days:

Tuesdays, 10.30 am, at Pavilion Dance South West, next to Bournemouth Gardens and Pier

The Over 50s ballet barre is held in the large and beautiful Seafront studio. With a cool down to music and a traditional ballet reverence.
